Customized a heavily loaded Sierra SLE with $8,380 in options. But, there's also $7,538 in discounts and rebates, so it comes out to $40,987. For a Sierra with every option other than leather and navigation. My dad would get even more off for working for a GM supplier, too. That's really not a bad deal at all. That's $5,000 less than we paid for my dad's Silverado in '04. Doesn't look bad either once you get rid of a lot of a gaudy chrome on the bumpers and grill.

IMO leather is one of the most important options

Why wouldn't you want leather? Honest question, not trying to be a snob here.

Not a real big leather person myself. If a nice cloth option is available, that's usually what I select.

Not a big fan of leather. Too hot in summer and too cold in the winter. If nice cloth is offered that's what I will usually select.

Good point. The cloth on my uncles '11 4runner is excellent but that is one of the rare cases that I would choose cloth over leather. But I think if you are paying 40K for a luxurious truck they should throw in leather.

You have to get what I think is a cloth inner with leather bolsters with the All-Terrain package on SLE models.

In a full size, I'd get leather, if you're not planning on using it for work/offroading. I personally wouldn't wheel a full size. My LB Taco is a stretch as is (pun intended). I actually wanted leather in my truck until I found out the cloth seats were waterproof.

Just out of curiosity how high do you think one could spec one of the tucks?

Oh, I have no idea. Denali starts at 48k, and can only go up from there.
